Thermal Photo Camera Tells the Truth of ESG Coates Liquid Glass Coating!

We have conducted a test by applied ESG liquid glass coating on the upper glass window at a café in Kuala Lumpur. We have captured the images with Thermal Photo Camera at different times to compare the temperature between the coated glass and uncoated glass.

Let’s see the result!

DATE: 19 Dec 2017        TIME: 11:37:28AM

Measurement                                          Parameters
Sp1                  37.2 °C                                 Emissivity        0.95
Sp2                  39.2 °C                               Refl. Temp.     20 °C

Sp1 was the area near to the ESG coated glass panel. It shows the temperature has lowered by 2°C which could save a lot of energy and provide a more comfortable atmosphere to dine-in customers.

Measurement                                          Parameters
Sp1                  38.5 °C                                 Emissivity        0.95
Sp2                  43.3 °C                                Refl. Temp.     20 °C

We have taken another picture at 12.17pm where the temperature is at peak. The reading shown that the area near to ESG Coates glass panel (sp1) has reduced 4.8 °C. This proof that ESG Coated Glass helps to block the heat yet allowed visible light to penetrate indoor.

Measurement                                               Parameters
Sp1                  40.6 °C                                     Emissivity        0.95
Sp2                  45.6 °C                                    Refl. Temp.     20 °C

Sp3                  38.2 °C
Sp4                  42.8 °C

We have measured the temperature difference for other tables too. We have a consistent result where the coated glass area (Sp1 & Sp3) has a lower temperature reading compared to uncoated areas (Sp2 & Sp4). Both tables shown a reduced of 4.6°C – 5°C which could have make significant dining experience for customers and save a lot of energy consumption for air-conditioner too!

Measurement                                              Parameters
Sp1                  33.4 °C                                    Emissivity        0.95
Sp2                  31.9 °C                                    Refl. Temp.     20 °C

We have measured the wall’s temperature which located the end of restaurant.
The coated glass (Sp2) & non-coated glass panel (Sp1) were subject to the same amount of sunlight & heat from afternoon sun.

From the thermal photo, it shown that the temperature reading around area Sp1 (Red) is higher than Sp2 (Blue).

This is because the heat was transmitted easily through un-coated high glass panel caused Sp1 area temperature higher.Whilst bottom coated glass panel blocking heat but allow visible light to penetrate indoor.

ESG COATES Block up to 90% Infrared & 99% UV

ESG COATES provides a solution by using Nano Sol Gel glass coating which able to convert your glass panels to functional glass. The liquid glass coating able to block up to 90% of Infrared & 99% of UV and it shields against the sun harmful rays. This will stabilize the indoor temperature and helps in energy savings.

A recommended solution in providing a comfortable environment for your customers!
