The photo shown that the tables & chairs are placed near to glass panel for customers to enjoy the view while dining in the restaurant.
The measurement from the infrared camera shown the temperature of the PVC leather seat has reached up to 47 °C!
HEAT & UV PENETRATION
The high temperature is caused by the penetration of the solar heat and UV into indoor through the glass panel and reached out to the furniture. The PVC leather seats absorbed the heat and turned them into a hot spot and slowly released the heat to indoor eventually. It increased indoor temperature and required more energy (air-conditioner) to cool down the room.
HARMFUL FOR FURNITURE
